August 29 – September 2 (Labor Day) It is hard to believe that it has been eight years since we were last in New York City. We figure it was time to revisit the big apple.

On Friday we are planning on getting together for a group dinner in the evening. The location is still TBD. After that we will probably head out to the various clubs or go exploring in Manhattan.

On Saturday we are having a conference at the Houston Street Center (Bowery and Houston) 273 Bowery, New York, NY 10002. We confirmed that there is an internet connection available that we can use. We plan on streaming the conference over the internet.

Sunday is going to be free and open to do what you want. Because, let's face it, who wants to make a road trip to sit inside a conference room all day Saturday and Sunday. That sounds too much like a special two day assembly and we have all had enough of them.

Stay in any neighborhood you like and consider the trade off between being close to the center and the cost of transit in Manhattan. Use your favorite travel search engine and set up a price alert for hotels and airfare. I prefer to use Kayak for my fare search.
